The Seismic Data Interpretation Centre has been operating since the establishment of Geofizyka Toruń. Currently, the team of specialists is made up of employees with many years of experience, many of whom hold academic degrees.
We carry out interpretation services both in the domestic market and abroad. Our track record includes providing solutions in India, Africa, the Middle East, South America (Colomba) and European countries (Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Norway).
Extensive experience, knowledge and modern tools, allow us to undertake and quickly implement the most complex interpretation projects in various geological conditions. Our work to date is dominated by tasks related to interpretation of deep reflection seismic data for the purposes of exploration of hydrocarbon deposits, construction of underground gas and carbon dioxide storage facilities, storage of hazardous waste and documentation of geothermal water resources.
We also carry out tasks aimed at identifying shallower geology. These include, for example, surveys carried out for geotechnical and geological reconnaissance of the seabed at planned locations for offshore wind farms. This work includes interpretation of high-resolution seismic reflection data (Ultra High Resolution Seismic), interpretation of seismic refraction tomography data and integrated interpretation of obtained results with information obtained from other methods, such as: magnetometric measurements, bathymetric measurements or seismo-acoustic measurements with a sub-bottom profiler.
We participate in nuclear power expansion projects, where we carry out geological reconnaissance at planned nuclear power plant sites.
