3D seismic survey in United Arab Emirates

GT has completed the acquisition phase of a large 3D seismic survey in UAE on Block 6, straddling both Onshore and Offshore and covering circa. 336km2 for RAK Petroleum Authority and RAK Gas L.L.C.

Seismic data acquisition operations were conducted both at sea and in populated areas, accumulating more than 200,000 man hours. The survey goal is to unravel various structures both in the footwall and hanging wall of the Arabian Platform Thrust Front.
