We are pleased to share INA’s publication about the recent seismic survey in Croatia conducted by Geofizyka Torun:
Successfully completion of the first part of the largest seismic acquisition project in Croatia
INA has successfully completed Crnac zapad project, the first part of the 3D seismic acquisition in the Drava-03 exploration area. The project covers an area of 400 km2, while the remaining 600 km2 is expected for early 2021. The works were performed in 89 days by Geofizyka Torun, and for the first time in Croatia, wireless single sensor technology was implemented, enabling better underground sampling and more efficient production.
A total of 40,855 points, over 200 million traces and more than 5 TB of data were recorded, which makes this project the most comprehensive in the history of filming the mainland of Croatia and confirms INA’s commitment to hydrocarbon exploration in the Pannonian Basin.
Despite the demanding conditions of the pandemic and the involvement of over 130 people, the project was implemented a few days ahead of schedule, without HSE incidents or recorded cases of COVID-19, which is the best indicator of excellent cooperation between INA, contractors and the local community.
