3D seismic data acquisition in Mozambique

Following successful completion of line clearance, GT Seismic Crew has commenced recording of 3D seismic data in the eastern part of Pande field onshore Mozambique.

Field operations are performed on behalf of Sasol Petroleum Mozambique and make up a wider seismic campaign scheduled for the coming months. The current survey area spans over 240 sq. km of dense bush and sparsely populated villages. Seismic data are acquired with the use of the latest Quantum Nodal Recording System. It is the first ever case of using that technology in Mozambique.
